What are exosomes?
When the skin is young, its natural population of stem cells is at its peak and acts as the body's first line of defence. Because more stem cells are present, younger skin fights ageing better. With age, we notice that our skin regenerates and recovers more slowly — visible as longer healing of wounds and scars, or a longer recovery period after ablative and invasive medical procedures.
Stem cells release nano-vesicles (~30–150 nm) called exosomes, or extracellular vesicles (EVs). Exosomes act as messengers (couriers) between cells, carrying important information for tissue healing, skin regeneration and faster recovery. They carry a vital "message" created inside stem cells to communicate with other cells, directing them to function in a very specific way. Under the right conditions, cells can be prompted to create a specific "message" (exosome) that directs other cells to regenerate.
Elevai PREx technology (Precision Regenerative Exosome Technology) makes it possible for Elevai products to contain exosomes that carry the skin-regeneration "message" to cells. Exosomes
Exosomes are nano-vesicles present in cells, especially stem cells. They contain biomolecules such as proteins, lipids and nucleic acids and act as messengers (couriers), enabling cell-to-cell communication for healing, regeneration and tissue repair. They are not cells and do not contain DNK.
Hyaluronic acid
Provides intense skin hydration and improves the delivery and penetration of active ingredients
Panthenol (Vitamin Pro-B5)
